First-time buyers steer existing-home sales higher in September
Existing-home sales are up 3.2 percentage points, according to NAR
- According to NAR, existing-home sales rose 3.2 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of 5.47 million.
- The bump in existing-home sales was thanks to first-time buyers, who accounted for a 34 percent share.
